Pavan Ravindra will graduate in May with bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and computer science.

This symposium was held on Friday, May 7th, 2021 virtually at University of Maryland College Park.

The theoretical chemist will use the award to apply artificial intelligence to the study of molecules and atoms.

The Fundamentals of Quantum Materials Winter School, held annually at the University of Maryland, brings together senior and junior scientists to address topics at the forefront of current research into quantum materials. 

University of Maryland Chemistry and Biochemistry Professor Dorothy Beckett has been chosen to direct the National Institute of General Medical Sciences' Division of Biophysics, Biomedical Technology, and Computational Biosciences.

The college will confer degrees to over 650 students during the Winter Commencement Ceremony.
