Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising event held on Wednesday, March 4, for all members of the University of Maryland community. Students, alums, faculty, staff, parents and friends join the largest day of giving because when thousands of Terps come together, the possibilities are limitless!
Join us in fueling the discoveries, breakthroughs and opportunities that define the future of science and mathematics at Maryland.Your support accelerates innovation, expands research and strengthens the scientific ecosystem that powers our world.

Our goal is simple: Raise critical funding and engage our community to advance the mission of the University of Maryland. Go Science Terps!

Chemistry and Biochemistry Department — Nationally recognized, award-winning faculty instruct students and provide them with research opportunities that lead to their independent careers. In addition, vigorous collaborative interactions with nearby national labs (including NIH, NIST and the FDA) illustrate the scientific community’s confidence in research conducted by investigators in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Chemistry and Biochemistry Graduate Award — This fund provides scholarship support to graduate students studying Chemistry in the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences.
