29 Faculty Members Promoted in UMD’s College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences
The University of Maryland’s College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences (CMNS) announced the promotions of nine tenured/tenure-track faculty members, six instructional faculty members and 11 research faculty members in summer 2025. Three additional faculty members were named Distinguished University Professor—the highest academic honor bestowed by the university.
