Did you know the US funded land-grant universities (including UMD) with expropriated Indigenous land? Join the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and the Department of Entomology for a webinar featuring Dr. Robert Lee (U. of Cambridge, UK) and Mr. Tristan Ahtone (Kiowa, Editor at Grist), who will present their research work on the expropriated land used to found land-grant institutions, revealing the links between violent colonialism and higher education in the USA.
