Declaring a Major in Chemistry or Biochemistry
The process of declaring a major is different depending on your current situation.
If you are currently declared as a major within the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences:
- Make an appointment to see Dr. Montague-Smith for advising (301-405-1791).
- Following your advising meeting, stop by the College Office of Undergraduate Affairs (1300 Symons Hall) to complete the paperwork.
If you are currently undeclared or have declared a major outside of the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences:
- Make an appointment to see Dr. Montague-Smith for advising (301-405-1791).
- Following your advising meeting, contact the College Office of Undergraduate Affairs (301-405-2080) to schedule a training session for majors.
- Complete the majors training session, and complete the paperwork.
